The menu is so varied, that you can visit often. Perhaps for a local favorite like California pasta with chicken & shrimp, in coconut curry cream sauce. A flavor explosion in the amazing the Rock Salt Shrimp appy. Or, be inspired a la minute, by the fresh seasonal or daily offering of the catch and seafood pasta. Or, try an exotic Turkish delight like Baharat spiced, lamb tenderloin or Fatoush salad.Caribbean Lime Pie is a decadent "must try". Fresh from restaurant successes in Vancouver, St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Lisa Cham arrived in Kelowna on a mission to offer Mission District residents and visitors alike "A Dining Experience that Exceeded All Expectations". With "The Fixx" she has done just that. Ask anyone.
Like the food selections, the wine list is extensive, and ever changing. Yet it always includes Lisa's personal Okanagan favorites.
The ambiance is, warm, cozy, friendly, comfortable, intimate, and casually elegant. You can equally celebrate an occasion or just another day in Okanagan paradise.
The friendly, gracious service is a constant reminder that you are a special guest, in a special place.
And The Fixx's patrons are just as friendly as the staff. Sit at the bar to watch the action and meet wonderful new people.

Our Story

The Fixx Cafe was established around 1999 by the first owners who operated it for a couple of years. The second owners operated it for 4 years and then I took over the operation in 2005. I have been the sole owner, chef and operator since then, with a growing love and passion.

The Fixx Cafe is the third restaurant that I have owned. The first being the Allegro Cafe in Vancouver and the second called Ocean Allegro in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Fixx Cafe has recently undergone a small renovation,acquiring 250 sqft from our neighbor beside us. Our original space was 802 square feet with 7 tables and 6 bar stools. It is hard to believe that we functioned the way we did for 6 years in such a cramped and inefficient space. We have an appreciation for our new space now and feel much less like we want to kill each other! 

The staff that makes the Fixx flow consists of 12 employees. Our committed staff are professional, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They take pride and ownership in their jobs and it is reflected on the service they give.

The menu at the Fixx is varied with many choices varying from Starters, Salads, Sandwiches and Such, to Pastas and Entrees. The ingredients that are used are fresh and wholesome. The food is prepared with care and love. Daily specials are created for lunch and dinner using local produce, fresh oceanwise fish from our local fishmonger Codfathers, quality protiens from our local butcher L&D meats, Mikuni Wild Harvest with their wonderful wild mushrooms, Moteas with their unique and tasty teas, GFS, supplying us with a variety of essentials that keep the Fixx running on a daily basis.

Our wine list is small but has a punch. We have approximately 70% local wines from B.C., plus a handful of other wines from around the globe.

The restaurant is small, the ambiance cozy and intimate. Original art is displayed throughout. The open kitchen gives a theater type setting, with bar stools at the counter giving a front row view. In the beautiful warm months a patio is set up with beautiful colorful wild flowers and umbrellas with the occasional treat from the Band “Summer Ice” playing smooth jazz..

The restaurant is a perfect size to hold a private party with a maximum seating capacity of 35 people. It is an ideal spot for meetings and parties.
